The problem I see in my area (Central Region) is when drivers take their two 10 minute paid breaks and a one minute unpaid lunch (entitled to 30 minutes for lunch), then they try to take a paid "cool down" break later in the day, while they still have twenty-nine minutes left of contractual break time. I would make sure you have exhausted all contractual break time before trying to take additional paid break time on the guise of heat related issues.
