My airport did their first Honor flight this morning. The veterans are due to come back at 2040 to a big celebration. Very cool. When I see stuff like this it makes me proud to be an American. I’ve seen YouTube videos of former soldiers from other countries watching videos of ceremonies for US soldiers/veterans and they’re so in awe. Many are not treated like that at home. I know we could do better but we are getting better every day.
Lots of people here with plenty steadily walking in. Flight isn’t due in for over an hour. So nice to see all the athletes from the college across the street as well as other young people.
