My wife bought a Continental from a lot like that. Later we fought out that Ford/Lincoln had a secret recall on their 3.8L engines. If they didn't replace the head gasket bolts the engine would blow at about 100k miles. Her car blew on schedule at 105k. They didn't tell anyone about the problem until later it became public. My mom had a Thunderbird with the same engine and it went at 95k miles.
Rincoln? Why not Cataract?
