All the Central did is screw over drivers close to retirement. In the end, the same amount of jobs will disappear. The company decided less is more, add to that competition from other carriers. All the Central did is shift those affected.
So the central did that? Not the company that pulled the offer and refused to negotiate?
How do we know this offer was going to be given to senior drivers only?
What guarantees do we have that these buyouts wouldn’t happen and people currently laid off would still be laid off and more layoffs wouldn’t happen?
You’re a very confused individual.
Again, people like you were very lucky to have someone negotiate for them. You would’ve been a FedEx driver still working with no pension no benefits and no guarantees of any kind.. even today at this point, we have no idea who’s getting these buyouts not to mention all the poison Phil language the company put in therm. It’s interesting. You cannot explain any of your positions when I ask these questions.
