Is it made out of a waterproof material?
It's not waterproof. It's what they call the "cooling hat" like the summer hat. It's not a rain hat. When you get it comes with instructions telling you to get it wet and then put it back on to keep your head cool. Like uhh duh you can do that with anything technically. I will say that it's way lighter, more comfortable and breathable. I'll never wear the regular hat again. Love this one. And it looks better too. They've been out for like 3 summers already though bro. Not necessarily new. Tell your oms to order you a couple of them
