I don't think men who think they're women or vice versa for purely mental reasons are demons. But it shouldn't have to be catered to in women's sports, women's private/vulnerable spaces, general medical treatment or the physical alteration of children. Not wanting those forced impositions is not hating them or wanting to cut them out of society. It just not playing along with something we know can never be true. I don't think playing along is good for them or for society in general.

if someone I loved came up to me and told me they were trans, it would be weird for me but I would try to be understanding. I’d encourage them to get therapy to try and feel comfortable in the body they were born in. I’d ask them how long they felt that they way, but after a certain point if they were adamant about it I would still love them
I imagine some young kids do things like claim “non binary” as a way to “be different” or go with the crowd, or maybe just feel awkward in their bodies and have anxiety in general, but I can’t imagine that is always the case, and I really don’t give a shit what adults do if it’s not hurting any body
no surgeries for minors, only play in sports after puberty of your gender you were born with, and after that I really don’t care or think much about it

As a 15-20 years ago type Democrat/moderate liberal myself, I wish they were. We really started getting politically wiped out in the 2010 election. Almost ended the Blue Dog Coalition in the House completely. Went from 64 members then to just 10 in 2025.
There’s no real political home for moderates right now. Just a matter of preferring a vision for the world as the conservatives want it or as the leftists want it. And I’m a straight white male who’s into common sense. Said a lot about it on BC.

Yes, the shooter made sure to call Charlie a fascist because he wasn’t fascist enough for him.
