Anyone interested in doubling down on UPS?
The dividend is pushing 8%, the stock is near a yearly low, and the CEO bought quite a lot of it recently.
I mostly only invest in SPY, but I'm curious if any of you buy and hold UPS stock. Mismanaged though it may be, it's getting to the point of being interesting to me.
UPS Stock
Big low sell high.
So sell because $85 is the new high for UPS.

The company is not making enough profits to pay the dividend.
Wall Street is expecting a dividend cut.
Trust me I was slightly tempted to buy some for income.
How much lower? 75 or $70?

Upside is higher than the downside at this price IMO.
Have just held my thrift plan turnover to shares(174).
Sold the little(100?)I bought outside of that around early 2021 when these guys for months insisted Orion was saving miles.
Have bought and sold some
the past 10 days taking advantage of the volatility. Made a couple of hundred dollars total.
The dividend going up from 1.02 to 1.52 at the end of 2021.❓❓❓❓
I did a review with my finance advisor last week. I have been told that it’s expected to go up a little and any stock that pays dividends is good to keep. I have been wanting to sell it for a while, it’s never going to be worth what it used to be. I did have a good year with 12.8% growth. The economy is expected to slow down a lot next year due to the costs of tariffs.

The quarterly profitLast quarter was not enough money to cover the dividend payment.

Yeah, the dividend has to drop. I can kick myself for not selling when it was over $200. I had robbed my Thrift Plan several times by the time UPS went public, I wasn't originally planning on making a career out of it. I got 144 shares for $25 per share with the IPO.

Bought 100 at 82.82. Will put in a couple of limit orders for 50 at 82.65 and 82.55. Run @gumby Run.

Donate it to the @gumby retirement fund? I will hang on to my IPO shares for a while still.
