AOL Ends Dial-Up Service

Jeez, I had no idea anyone still did dial up. I guess 160,000 customers still do.
Gotta drag 'em kicking and screaming into the 21st century!

I remember throwing the free AOL cds at eachother as weapons as kids lol

also the iconic screeching noise as you dial up, not being able to use the phone while on the computer, and of course “you’ve got mail” voice

I would've thought dial up ended around 25 years ago.

What I have isn't much better. It's barely fast enough to download porn.

What website can you even visit on dialup. Most are too slow on 100Mbps.
