I’m wondering about posting UPS vs Union hearings with results???? Others can post what they see at their center I have to find them again but there use to be good info when reading them. Helps knowing what works when doing a grievance. Big Union man may know where? Also maybe have a category made up for it? Anyone’s thoughts?

I was told non termination cases don’t make it to arbitration, but instead they go to a regional / national hearing and both have an arbitrator.
I’m supposed to have panel next week . Wish me luck . Not posting anymore online but I’d like my job back lol

Got me certified letter today informing me of the specifics , I was hoping for a last minute deal but idk if that will happen now that I have the letter . I suppose the still have until Monday or Tuesday . If not fingers crossed, 21 years of my life here
FYI, many deals are made right in the hallway before you go in so you never know

id go with the right attitude I’m sure you already know. Admit guilt ask for forgiveness and it won’t happen EVER again. But then I don’t know or need to know the reason so maybe don’t apply. I know of a person that went. They let him come back due to he had no prior issues on his record like the reason he was there.

Welllll nobody made a deal at the front door . They offered a deal a day before to my BA again to resign . Saying they won’t fight unemployment and will pay any time owed . With 21 years I have surpassed seniority on all the management at this place and I’m not rolling over and giving up . Short story I’m fired over another persons 20 seconds of road rage . . I’m 5050 on how panel went and don’t know what’s next , they have 3 days to give the decision

No matter the outcome good or bad you will look back and see it happened for a reason and it was for the better you in time. Being a new retiree I look back and I would not of choose this place to work. I never realized how bad the place was until I left. I told everyone I loved my job. I started young like you and just grew accustomed to it all. Maybe a driver is different but I do not see it with them esp now.

If they didn’t give you a decision at the panel it doesn’t sound good for you. Usually, that means the claim of the union is denied.

If your case requires mercy, do not expect the arbitrator to give any. It’s merely black-and-white to them.
