Saw that on pilot debrief on you tube. He gives excellent explanation of what went wrong.
I understand that the plane was in for maintenance is San Antonio for a couple months. Was that done by UPS mechanics, or is that contracted out?

That would be my guess, as well. That would limit the liability against UPS, I'd assume.
