That's crazy

Good thing we are slowing down....

Carol got it under control.

10 more years

You know what's hilarious is that this Sagamore MA building closing next month is now buried and utilizing the 70 hour rule. You can't make this stuff up.

The Atlanta Hub is going to be scheduled for closure next year, and most feel the operations will go to SMART Hib which is very close by.
Not a surprise as this hub was built in the 1960's

Lots of the buildings are so called leased.

What's funny is that the building is closed due to a part-time union Steward calling OSHA once or twice a month on the building codes the building owner decided this was more trouble than it was worth and opted not to renew the lease now they are in a hub about an hour to an hour and a half away from their area.I always feel bad when I see them delivering at eight or 830 knowing they have to still make that long drive back to the building.

Or ever.

The Griffin Center in Griffin GA was recently closed and the work split between Forest Park and Macon.
the building had been leased since 1976 and was pretty run down. A PT steward kept calling OSHA over unsafe working conditions and the owner of the building decided it was more trouble than it was worth and declined to renew the lease when it expired

I live in Griffin and I couldn't believe what Griffin Center looked like, it was a shack. I started in the original Atlanta Hub and I drove the first package car out of the Forest Park Hub when my Center opened it in 1991. Today I was on North Expressway in Griffin and noticed a bunch of package cars heading South at 10:30 AM. I can't imagine the hours those guys are working. My packages have an Orange Belt SPA label on them, that's in the very back of the Forest Park Hub.
