I also remain skeptical that sanctions can defeat Iran. Simply because they don’t care how much pain they inflict on their citizens. Time will tell I suppose.

They may not care, but the people care. I think ultimately, Iran will collapse from within. How long? Who knows? But it can’t continue with a population that has no food, water, energy or money.
