Intel is an American company. And if the government helps them with financing, yes it deserves a return. Capitalism
So you’re saying you’re fine with the government taking ownership stakes in private companies as long as it provides financing? Intel had the fastest CPUs on the market by clock speed when they got their bailout. Had the highest IPC of any CPU on the market. Literally crushed any workload other than playing video games or running servers. Cheapest cost per core. Cheapest flagship chip.

People get stupid rich off backhanded deals when the government gets involved. Every single time. Their stock is up 267% over the last year, and their only real product improvements over the last year is better iGPUs and caches.
