I'm not trying to take sides in the slightest. Just want to throw that out there.
I'm just saying that some people see compromise as the first step to losing, so they'll dig in with everything they've got.It's a problem with a lot of people, not just on any one side.
I'd imagine it's pretty hard to be a card carrying Republican walking into November right about now. There's a solid chance this goes very poorly for them.
I cannot for the life of me I understand identifying as a card caring democrat or card carrying republican.
I have my own values, and I certainly think one side represents them better, but neither side represent them in an honest manner in my opinion. If I was a card-carrying member of either one of these parties, I would be completely disappointed every time they were in power. I think Washington DC is such a cesspool that even the good people who go there to try and change things end up being changed themselves.

The point of posting here imo is that you have a much more personal relationship with the people on this form than you do almost anywhere else on the Internet. That personal relationship does not mean we agree all the time or maybe anytime. You know these guys you know what they’re gonna say. very few places on the Internet anymore for free speech or debate. Go on Reddit and see how quick you get banned from there if you’re not part of the hive mind of that particular fourm. If someone chooses to block you, it may not be because of you. It may be because of them needing a break. Really nothing wrong with that.
I’m not particularly fond of @ilovetrump political views, but I don’t want him banned. I would rather beat him in the arena of ideas. If I can’t, then I need to reevaluate my stance.
