There are plenty of people in our country of 343 million that would be qualified and willing to become the White House press secretary. I know for sure that highly qualified conservative commentator Scott Jennings really wanted it. Unfortunately not a blonde haired woman.

As to the TDS, about 80% of independents currently disapprove of Trump. And it'll show in the midterms. Maybe the other supposed independents on this forum are among the 20% who approve of Trump. Or maybe they're not really independents at all.

I’m pretty sure Trump probably didn’t spend much time worrying about who he put in his press secretary. He doesn’t have much respect for the press nor do I. most of them in that room are a bunch of vultures.

Ben Shapiro and Nick Fuentes have both been talking about the likely level of actual corruption and grift present in the Trump administration that the upcoming Democrat-controlled Congress will be investigating. Those investigations and providing a check on Trump's dumb war and dumb tariffs won't be unpopular with voters going into 2028.

Now if the Democrat-controlled Congress would prefer to work on the kind of leftist insanity I've been attacking for years here and on BC, that will be unpopular with voters going into 2028.

I think the term “independent voter” is wildly overrated. Most are just Democrats or Republicans who are pissed off at their current party. They might vote for the other party, but they’ll most likely go back to voting for the party They most agree with, if there were really that many true independent voters we would already have third viable option and we don’t and probably never will.

If people voted against Democrats in the last election, what do they really think they’re going to fix and do they really think the things they voted against the last time have changed or have they gotten more magnified and entrenched? Same with Republicans..
