I think the term “independent voter” is wildly overrated. Most are just Democrats or Republicans who are pissed off at their current party. They might vote for the other party, but they’ll most likely go back to voting for the party They most agree with, if there were really that many true independent voters we would already have third viable option and we don’t and probably never will.
If people voted against Democrats in the last election, what do they really think they’re going to fix and do they really think the things they voted against the last time have changed or have they gotten more magnified and entrenched? Same with Republicans..

100% I can guarantee you every president has done something I liked. And multiple things I did not. i’ve never hated any of them. It takes too much effort and energy to hate in my opinion.
I dislike a lot of the things. Donald Trump has done, but I sure do like the way my portfolio looks. Is he lucky or good? I don’t know, but he’s the one at the top so he gets the credit just like any other president would.. and he also gets the blame for all the other stuff. Some of it definitely his fault some of it out of his control just like every other president.

Yep, everything gets more expensive at a grocery store. That’s the point, grocery stores were not price gouging, but she seemed to think they were. She thought that she could control it, which would’ve caused grocery stores to go out of business because they wouldn’t be able to pay their bills which would’ve caused food shortages This was her idea and if she implemented it that what would've happened. I would rather pay higher gas prices and a little more food like you say that’s going to happen anyway then be starving to death. Maybe you would rather start to death at your prerogative. My point is not that either one or good it’s just that both are going to be crappy and one way or the other.
At this point in my life, I’ve been alive long enough to understand that no president or politician is going to make my life easier or better. That’s up to me.
