I am NOT saying that things would be better under a Democrat.
But the Republicans need to make sure they're not just relying on fake statistics to get their wins.
The Democrats have more experience and will drag them down and beat them with experience.

56% chance is well down from where it was pretty recently.
It's not only the prices that are a problem for Republicans. It's that it looks like Trump is actively maintaining or worsening the situation with his tariffs.

I think aggressively pushing tariffs is a mistake but mostly because it gives the Dem a talking point. If not for that they would find something else to whine about. They aren't the economy killing mistake some claim though. At most short term pain followed by long term growth. It is something that should be done slower and more carefully in my opinion.
