France

The Fact: This one is partially grounded in history but outdated. France did ban postal voting in 1975 after fraud issues in Corsica. Mexico

The Fact: False. Mexico actually introduced mail-in voting for citizens living abroad in 2005. For domestic voters, they rely heavily on a highly secure, biometric national voter ID card system and in-person voting, rather than a "ban" born out of a 1992 event.
Belgium
The Claim: Banned mail-in voting in 2018 due to fraud.

Sweden, Italy, & Japan
