It Turns Out Illegal Aliens Were Getting Food Stamps in Wisconsin

$1 billion a day to bomb brown kids but you are outraged if kids here get to have lunch.

Well, if we are bombing then they won’t be having lunch anymore, so we’re actually saving money

We're not striking shit. Trump is stuck and sooner or later he'll take whatever out he can get.

The Reality Behind the Claims

France

The Claim: Banned mail-in voting in 1975 due to fraud.

The Fact: This one is partially grounded in history but outdated. France did ban postal voting in 1975 after fraud issues in Corsica. However, they didn't eliminate remote voting entirely; they transitioned to proxy voting (where someone votes on your behalf). More importantly, France recently brought back mail-in voting for citizens living abroad and has used it for parliamentary elections.

Mexico

The Claim: Banned mail-in voting in 1992 due to fraud.

The Fact: False. Mexico actually introduced mail-in voting for citizens living abroad in 2005. For domestic voters, they rely heavily on a highly secure, biometric national voter ID card system and in-person voting, rather than a "ban" born out of a 1992 event.

Belgium

The Claim: Banned mail-in voting in 2018 due to fraud.

The Fact: False. Voting is compulsory in Belgium. While the general public primarily votes in person or via proxy, postal voting is actively permitted and used for Belgian citizens living abroad. There was no sweeping 2018 ban.

Sweden, Italy, & Japan

The Claim: Does not permit mail-in voting.

The Fact: False for all three.

Sweden: Allows early voting by mail both domestically (under specific conditions, like illnesses or being at sea) and for citizens abroad.

Italy: Allows postal voting for citizens living overseas.

Japan: Permits mail-in voting for citizens abroad, as well as specific domestic voters with severe physical disabilities.

Ukraine & Russia

The Claim: Does not permit mail-in voting.

The Fact: Mostly true, but context matters. Neither country relies on traditional postal voting for the general public, but Russia has heavily pushed electronic/internet voting in recent years, which is another form of remote voting.

"No Middle Eastern or Latin country permits mail-in voting"

The Claim: Broad geographic bans.

The Fact: Inaccurate. For example, in Latin America, countries like Colombia and Peru allow their citizens living abroad to vote remotely, including via postal systems in certain elections.

How’s your Memorial Day going?

How’s your Memorial Day going?

My town was able to finish the parade before more heavy rain arrived today.

All remaining outdoor ceremonies have been moved indoors.

Did you hear about the school graduation that wouldn't move things inside?
