The Republicans F'ed up hard enough to lose Texas.
That's 30 years of winning there gone.
The Democrats may have no plan other than "fight Donald Trump", but the Republicans have yet to flip California.
I’m not convinced that there wasn’t something going on in Texas. The polls all had it within a point, yet it was a blow out? Not buying it. Never underestimate how low a cornered rat like a democrat will go. But either way, it’s gone beyond waiting for elections.

Republicans will never flip California. And as time goes by more more people believe the government can fix their situations, even though the evidence around them shows otherwise. More often not the government is the problem.The only hope is that things get bad enough that people stop voting for these two parties. When your only choice is the other party that you voted out last time it’s really no choice at all.
California was recently voting on proposition 40. A bill that was tax billionaires at 5% because of mismanagement of the California healthcare system. They wanted to penalize billionaires by taking 5% of their wealth, even though they know these billionaires could move, creating an even bigger problem later because their yearly taxes would be gone and that wouldn’t even fix the problem. The problem would still be there.. that was just a vote because people hate billionaires not because it was going to fix anything peak level, Idiocracy. It doesn’t look like it passed, but it was pretty close.

They were both insufferable. I believe Texas will be very tired of Mr. Tallarico very quickly. But in this particular case, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

For sure, but once again, if there is fraud of any kind, no one‘s going to do anything about it because each time one party is in power they are looking to create as much confusion about voting and carpet bagging as possible, while yelling at at the other party in charge and then turning around and doing it themselves the next time they’re in charge.

War in the middle east, the price of hamburger, and an economy that was propped up by a handful of tech companies passing the same five bucks in a circle and calling it revenue are the big ones that I can think of.
I'm not sitting here saying the democrats will fix any of those things. But there are GOOD reasons why the Republicans lost.

Correct The Republicans won Big two years ago and felt they had a mandate. Unfortunately, they thought itwas a mandate to do whatever THEY wanted.
