I couldn’t care less bout drug or gun charges honestly. Those shouldn’t be charges in the first place. But he’s gone almost 17 years without any criminal charges, and he served in our military, he deserves citizenship imo.

Yeah, I don’t care. Guy lived here since he was 7 years old, served in our military and fought for our country, and had some charges I don’t give a shit about. This guy is the least of my worries and deserves to stay in our country

Conviction for assault is a problem for me.
I don't think serving in the military should be enough to get you citizenship as much as I'd prefer a "fast track" line for those who did.

I haven’t seen any details on it, I looked but they haven’t released it and his lawyers disputed it, but could be as simple as a drunken bar fight when he was younger. If it was for something like hitting a woman then I’d have a problem with it, but his most recent charge was 17 years ago and was the possession charge
