Cool, I haven’t found one politician yet who isn’t a hypocrite. But he’s working on putting an end to government funded animal studies, and honestly that’s one of the rare things that would almost make me vote Republican
Only 5% of animal studies end up being approved and useful to humans. 95 fucking percent of animal studies don’t make it over to humans. Millions of animals needlessly suffering and hundreds of millions of dollars of tax money wasted

Everyone seems to be missing the point of the ferret drinking study.
It wasn't to see how drunk the ferrets could get, it was several jobs created for some people to go buy the beer for the ferrets.
I think at least 10-20 jobs were created.
They needed a van with a driver , a few to load the van and unload the beer into the study lab.
Several more to clean up the lab after every beer run.
You know the ferrets weren't going to clean up their mess by themselves.
Then all those beer cans had to be sent out to the recycling center , to get the deposits back.
