Red Dwarf is the best SciFi program ever made.
{ yes, it is an English program }
The way they were able to blend older shows into the newer ones was revolutionary.
One interesting note; production of shows were halted until the lead actor finished his prison sentence.

Just last week there was talk of a re-boot with a younger cast.

{ there was an American pilot made but it was rotten }

Its a bit weird but pretty funny. Typically low budget like most British shows but they made up for it with the writing.

Red Dwarf? Wut?

Sad news for fans of classic UK sci-fi today as it’s been reported that co-creator of cult classic series Red Dwarf, Rob Grant, has died. His passing was first reported by stalwart Red Dwarf fan-site Ganymede & Titan with a short statement. Such is the immediate emotional response from fans that the site has crashed.

I'm sure the editorial board included the obscure Rob Grant in their assessment.
