They were pretty proud of that NASCAR sponsorship. We got all kinds of free swag for a couple years.
Having a big race a 3/4 of a mile from the center we got some stuff during the sponsorship. Senior driver(who wanted it) would drive a pkg car into the track and deliver the checkered flag before the race. Two drivers would drive a pkg car into the infield/garage area and deliver/will call the pkgs for the teams/vendors Thursday-Sunday. Best was getting a suite(pretty sweet) and all access pass for the race for a no accident/injury drawing. The ten of us had to be reminded there would be big customers in the suite and to behave.
Traffic stories would be next but no one cares.✊
