What's your guys honest opinion on this.. No trolling.

I got this city municipal building on my route.. It's one address no different suites or businesses inside the building. Just different names on the packages.

So lately they started pulling this thing where they say "this goes upstairs".

I was like okay great call them and tell them to come get it. They are saying it's my job to take it up there.

I said lady it's just one address and one business. I don't have time to walk around the whole building trying to figure out what goes where.

Turned into a whole argument. Nothing bad was said just confrontational. Am I in the wrong or right?

You tell them the choice is they can accept it or refuse it. Period.

Appears that you are right. Run it by your on road, steward, and any cover drivers that know the history there.

Some places will try to dick you around and have you running around all over the place looking for people. City workers can be the worst. They are always afraid to sign for anything as if it would come out of their pay. Nope.

There should be a central receiving or a designated delivery point.

The one caveat (had to google correct spelling lol)

Is they started putting "2nd floor" on second address line. But the thing with that is that it only appears on the shipping label. Not on the diad or on the spa label. The diad and spa label only add a second address line for commercial if it's suite or unit # not floor.

But it's hard to explain that someone who doesn't work here. They think we read every word on the actual shipping label.

I did call my on road. It was the least of his worries. Don't even think he understood what I was saying.

Exactly. I've been on business routes my whole 7 years. This is the first time I ever had this issue. Any other place that's one building one address just has one delivery point and then it's on them to figure out what goes where.

But since I've been out so much I guess whoever was covering started bending over to their wishes and fucked it up for me.
