Funny thing is, I would have gone another year.... but my body couldn’t take it.
And UPS was just getting so stupid.
Same for me. I had planned to work a little longer but my body said no. I was at the point where I thought I could retire but not 100% sure. I really watched my spending for the first year or so until I got a real feel for things. I had enough as long as I didn't get stupid. I did easily have enough to buy something if I wanted it and still ended up saving money every month. And that was without social security or tapping retirement funds.
