Something that really cheeses me off is how almost every place wants to go paperless. Like when you check into a doctor's office they want you to use your phone to check in. If you don't have your phone with you they have a meltdown over it. And utility companies want everyone to pay their bills electronically. If you do it that way even once they will never send you any more paper statements.
For my PA appraiser license, online renewal was always an option but they hit you with like a $5 "convenience fee" and fuck that. I only ever mail it though they seem to be trying to force the online renewal because I haven't even been able to find the mail-in form on their website the last few years. Too bad for them I saved the PDF.

When you mail it in to places some of them take so long to process them they want to hit you with late fees.
