I heard the same rhetoric when I was trying to qualify. I just looked around the building and said well if there's 400 drivers here I've got to be better than at least one of them. I'm keeping the same mindset as I head towards retirement. The mind is incredibly powerful, it can will the body to do amazing things.

Im being completely serious. Ive seen way too many drivers get permanent career injuries.
