Same things happening with weed right now, with the hemp bill being made legal by Trump they were then able to make synthetic cannabinoids from the hemp that are kinda like weed and get you high and sold legally in gas stores, but still not technically regular weed so its legal federally, Delta 8 and things like that which are also sold in gas stations, but it’s not the good stuff like you’re getting from your legal gummies which is regular thc
I thought the farm bill loophole was they took hemp filtered out and concentrated the THC and then put it in this gummy that has a lot of water weight and because the plant contained less than .3% THC by weight and the final product contained less than .3% THC by weight it was legally considered hemp
