100% you can’t. It’s random and you never know when they’re going to call.
I’ve seen guys think they’re safe because they haven’t gotten called for weeks or months…. then the call comes in and drop dirty and the career at UPS is over.
I challenge you to look through the want ads to see what they’re paying right now.
Take those classes seriously. You Signed an agreement that gives you one more opportunity to keep your career here if you violate it there is no other chance.
I'm going in to sign the papers on Monday. How long does it typically last? I've heard some say 1 year and heard others say 5? I have to stay sober for 5 years? That seems overkill

One year is typical. But it actually is up to ASAP. Nobody can tell them different.
They will have people do pointless office work even if its only for a couple of hours a day to keep them off the injury reports.
