I'm going in to sign the papers on Monday. How long does it typically last? I've heard some say 1 year and heard others say 5? I have to stay sober for 5 years? That seems overkill

So you plan on traveling back down the dark road?

After.

Pretty embarrassing, although Humorous.

We need an expert.

@sailfish can you confirm?

Sex dolls have dads?

They do not.

So you plan on traveling back down the dark road?

I think most all of us have been involved with someone who has an addiction problem that is destroying their life, or causing them to make poor choices.

It’s very difficult to understand.

It’s an extreme case, but imagine seeing someone totally addicted to meth and thinking….”boy I would like to be like that person!”

The addict never thinks it’s going to be them, and when it does become them, they have a multitude of excuses to explain it away.

Perhaps

And im dealing with your crap. Today

Brotha man, for what’s it worth, I haven’t had alcohol in about 10 years. And I got in to way more trouble than you did from it. I was a dumb sloppy drunk, but I had a fuckin blast getting shit faced, but it started fucking up my life and I almost lost what was most important to me because of it.

I was extremely lucky that life, God, gave me another chance. Extremely blessed.

Our situations are similar but also a little different. I was lucky enough to be given another chance but I was also the one who made the promise to quit because of. I wasn’t being forced by a program. You are being forced to quit, and I completley understand how that sucks. I would hate that too. Especially if you don’t have a problem with it and just want to drink to have fun and unwind

Alcohol is different for everyone. Some people can handle it totally fine, even getting wasted, others have a hard time stopping once they start and make decisions they wouldn’t make other wise. I don’t know which you are. You’re going to need to do some reflecting and try to find out who you are and what’s important to you in your life, and once you find out what’s important to you in life, you need to stop doing things that negatively affect that and start doing things that positively affect it

If you think you can have alcohol in your life still, find out the conditions of your testing. Are you not allowed to drink on the weekends? Because alcohol is not like weed where it stays in your system, maybe you’re able to drink on your days off, that’s a question for your ba or someone like @thebrownblob

In the mean time, while you’re finding out the details, I would recommend not drinking and would recommend picking up a hobby, I think exercise is one of the best, lifting and cardio, especially in nature, can do wonders

At Chippendales with @sailfish again?

I only go to Femboy Hooters.
