This is what video uploads are showing on my end.

You need to click on the link I uploaded. And why are you seeing the play button with \ through it? Looks like a setting problem on your end.

Looks like we're setting a wrong mime type for videos possibly. Desktop browsers are typically more forgiving.

Lemme try something.

iPhones won't work.

Apple web browsers suck.

@bigunionguy I'll try to figure out how I can re enable the image resizing today. I turned it off because it was breaking the editor with the update.

I'm on a Windows desktop now and it is working fine with both Firefox and Opera

@21savage videos should be fixed for mobile now.

iPhone?

Did you try to copy and paste or use the media upload link?

It works with my IPhone

What format video are you uploading?

We don't do transcoding, so if it's some weird HEVC codec, the browser may not support it at all.

The media upload link.

How would you copy and paste from a galleries app?

Most phones store in some version of mp4/mpeg4 I think. No weird codecs with those.

Looks like I was kind of wrong.

HEVC (H.265)

High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), also known as H.265, is the successor to H.264. It offers up to 50% better data compression at the same level of video quality and is ideal for high-resolution video on mobile devices. HEVC is supported by most modern smartphones, including the latest iPhones and Android devices. It’s perfect for streaming 4K content with minimal buffering.

That does say HEVC for iPhones but can those phones also use different formats or convert them?
