Seriously people are stealing the quarters by ripping them out with pliers.

@toonertoo praying for your husband πŸ™βœοΈβœοΈ You're a great wife and he knows it , God Bless you both !

Thank you ❀️

Nice

I may do that next year.

40-45,000 a year for the next 16 years so I won’t get blown up when RMDs start and also pay the tax now in a low bracket.

I still need to take a distribution from my IRA and prepay some taxes

Yep gonna have to add 5,000 to my Jan estimated tax for todays rollover.

Daddy warbucks

I plan on using a little bit of my pre-tax money to supplement a little bit of my income next year and then maybe making small Roth conversions . Im still trying to figure everything out. My plan keeps changing.

Definitely cant do anything this uear.

Even with estimating how much I will owe and prepaying taxes I had to pay a penalty the past couple of years because I still ended up owing too much.

Next year I'm going to be in a much lower bracket it. What i made this year plus my vacation payouts plus the buyout its not even an option this year

Bit Next year with only getting my pension and taking some of the interest from my annuities and getting the joint deduction I won't be in a high tax bracket next year.

Like i said I have a lot to figure out

Even if I just convert 5 or 10k a year.

My first year the penalty wasn’t much 50.00(?). Been on point the past couple with no penalty.

A lot of my investments are in funds with taxable capital gains and with how well the market has been doing I have been owing a lot in taxes.

Back on topic.

1st world problems

But seriously it could disqualify some of my ROTH contributions for this year.

Indexed ETFs are usually more tax friendly.

The one thing I hate about mutual funds is, thst you could actually have a loss and still pay capital gains.

Made me and the wife this great retirement breakfast!

Someone talk this dude off the ledge. You start doing things and they start to expect it.

It's basically the same as the runner-gunner doing more, so they load him up more.

You are such a good wife

B

Ivw missed you all..my husband came home from a 3 week hospital stay, 2 in icu, several surgeries..I opted to care for him at home, vs a health care facility. So I stay pretty busy..but he's progressing. And he likes my cooking, better than theirs..

He had an aneurysm, with blood clots, which also put him in to heart failure. The aneurysm and blood clot blocked blood flow to his right leg, and damn near lost it. By the Grace of God they saved it by doing a bypass from shoulder to groin, bypassing the aneurysm. It was a very low chance he would survive. His heart was pumping at 9%. He also got pneumonia.

But here we are. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts.

Sorry I missed your post.
