I've done cherry blossom before. We drove on the grass of the national mall. Then a park ranger came over to our current division manager and started yelling at him that she had never seen tires on the grass at the national mall in her whole career and he defaced a national monument. He was like "oh well, get over yourself. We had to do it, there was no other way to make the turn". Same dude that has fired many people for putting ruts in customer lawns in the country. Amazing.

They really should set up remote parking with park and ride. Almost no place to park near there.
