No youtube mechanic would tell you to go buy one. Only the paid youtube car review channels say they're good.

Another good one is Daves Auto out of Utah. He does a lot of vids about Diesel engines, but all cool stuff.
Watched him do a diagnosis of the Ford 5.4 Triton 3v (I had in an F-150). Explained a lot.
