No. A good number of systems don't even have the necessary blower power to properly handle a pleated filter.

Pleated is all I have seen that fit my furnace. The blower kind of sounds like a jet engine when it winds up.
My son would sleep walk occasionally when he was younger, 7-8. It goes away eventually.
I have a theory on that
