I won 2 fantasy leagues and my wife says I can spend the money however I want !!! 😊
No one cares, simp.

My last route that I worked for 23 years was in Jonesboro. GA. That's where Tara was based on the book. Several times Japanese tourists would come up to me wanting to know where Tara was. The old railroad station was a Gone With the Wind museum and there was a Stately Oakes plantation house where the historical society was. My delivery area had several places that had places with trenches from the Battle of Jonesboro. I found a horseshoe sticking up in somebody's yard I kept.
And Doc Holiday is buried near you too!? Lucky bastard. I don’t give a fuck what anyone says, the civil war was about states rights. They had every right under the Constitution, to secede. Period.

Yes, I was actually born in a hospital in downtown Atlanta. The damn yankees burned that whole city down. I wouldn't care if they did it again. The first UPS route I worked was in the area where the old city was with original street names from then.

They should burn it down again. I was a history major that had a particular interest in the civil war. I came away believing that Lincoln was an asshole that overstepped his constitutional authority. It was about money, the southern states were the 3rd largest economy in the world. He couldn’t let that go.

I'm president of a volunteer group that works in a state park. Our big fundraiser is doing a candle lantern hike in the New Manchester textile mill ruins. When it was built, it was the biggest building in the Atlanta area. One of Sherman's calvary units captured the mill and burned it down. They took the 100 women and children as POWs and took them as prisoners up north, whole families never saw each other again.

I saw a documentary on that. It made me ashamed to be American. That was a tragedy. I love this country, but I can’t believe there wasn’t a compromise to be had before we went to war with each other. Even back then, northern liberals fucked shit up.
