We had common sense and could adapt. You stupid bastards can’t even spell or write your name in cursive.
It was before Mapquest and yes we did have most of the streets mapped in out heads. We could usually tell you exactly where a stop was and even describe the house to you.
A supe met me one peak to take a section off me, so I set it up for him, stop for stop. He went out of his way the next morning to tell me how easy it was for him, every stop was exact, at night too. No phone, no gps, just in my head like you said.
