Honda was smart enough to pay their workers enough that it cut off any possibility of union getting a foothold there.

Drove straight to work when the bars closed at 3 o’clock and slept in the parking lot more than once
When I started PT, employees were allowed to drink in the parking lot. Everyday in the summer it
was a regular thing to see drivers standing around someones pickup with coolers of beer in the bed.
There was more than one time we left the parking lot when the sun was rising. Blasting music and
playing football, throwing frisbees, etc.
Then this drunk dick.... Mike S.... threw a wine bottle at the sort managers car when he was leaving.
Ended that.

We used to take a mail tote and empty out the ice machine
Water pump seal goes bad not a big deal except the water pump is inside the engine. Ford dealer wanted $4700 to fix and replace a few other things while they had the motor apart

You have a whole house generator at your place? Thinking of getting one here but we most likely will not be in Florida for the hurricane season. Basically, just down here November thru April. We do have natural gas here which makes it easier.

04-08 Ford 5.4 Triton had the first issue with the spark plugs. They were a new 2 piece design.
problem was.... they would break in half on removal. Changing plugs could cost you haveing them
drilled out of the heads. Finally came up with a tool to remove them. Then there was the class action
lawsuit. They didn't break mine.
The next issue was the oil journals in the block were too small. Full synthetic oil change every 3000
miles did it for me until I retired and bought the Honda.

When the water pump went out on my Trailblazer the coolant leaked on the ground instead in the engine. $400 repair.
