I was reading where Richard Pryor was almost cast as the sheriff. Cleavon Little made that movie though.
Pryor was one of the writers and was planned to be in that role but studio execs said no after his drug bust.

A lot of trees have fallen, blocking some roads, DPW has to stop plowing to remove downed trees.
