Thsts twice as much as you ever made in one year.

I had to retire to make money.
Honestly, I was a combo with no OT bringing in at the most $65K.
This year, I plan on having $103K , just from SS & pension, not including any 401K.
{ waited until age 70 to collect SS }
( I used funds from the 401K to cover the gap before collecting SS }
One might assume I'm bragging but I'm not, these are just my facts.
Not bad for a simple air driver.

Im going to use that 150k to bridge some of the gap.

I enjoy sleeping in until noon.
Now to go out and uncover my other truck, did one yesterday.
Or I just might wait and let mother nature do it.
Being retired sure has reduced my decision making options.
My next big thing to do is rig up my boat mooring and to drop it in the ocean on Easter.
Why Easter ?
If in the future some smuck tries to drop his mooring in my spot, all I had to do is ask him where he was on Easter.

I have read an article that stated that the amount I have in my 104K is comparable to what a commercial airline pilot should have.
And those guys make triple of what I did.
