I can’t speak to what the agreement is because I haven’t seen it personally. In my local seniority was followed in accordance to the same way we would pick vacations or any other entitlement.
I cannot vouch for if that happened anywhere else.

This is what I have wondered. Did anybody in Gumby's building get the buyout and if they did was it done by seniority? You would think that not many have as many years as he does and wouldn't it make more sense to let the slackers go?

It was.... and is.... based on company “operational needs”.... per location.
