When I hear people talk about such nonsense I just roll my eyes. It’s all talk if they ever actually sat in front of a lawyer he would probably push a tissue box over to them and tell them take one of these you have no lawsuit.

The way I see it is their only argument would be the company didn't follow seniority. But contractually UPS doesn't have to give anyone anything.

There’s tons of latitude, when the company and Union make agreements.

As far as I’ve seen classification and building, seniority have been followed. As per the normThere was never an expectation that it would be a top down seniority from everyone in the company altogether. That’s not even the way the company in the union handle seniority now..

Even in regards to our pensions, we don’t have uniform standards. It’s different all across the country.

Lol, trucks were just as jammed, drivers got 8-10 hours of overtime most of the year. You had to figure out which way to run the route, often by looking at a map!

We started earlier, 8-8:15 am, which made it the ot seem as not as much.

You also did not have edd, no driver release.

You did have cash cod's, plenty of them, check cod's. Certified check cod's. Try having one stop to a hair salon with 10 cods. You had to separate them and tally by shipping number! It was an everyday thing.

You needed to know/had to use: route area codes, you used paper sheets, paper time cards, cod turn in forms, cod stubs, tally up daily cash, vouchers, file paper sheets and copies, residential: you often made 3 trips to doors for signature for one stop. tally up all pick ups, stops and pieces by area code.

Everything you did all day you had to keep track of and record on your time card.

Whoever uses my regular truck on Saturdays keeps doing the thing where he uses a DR bag and ties it to the dr bag handle and uses it as a trashcan.
