Do you know anyone that has a humidifier built into their furnace? Never had one , but this heat from the furnace seems very dry this yr for some reason .

We do.
We had it installed like 9 years ago. It's installed on the air return side I believe? Has a hygrometer on it, and you can set it to whatever you want.
Has a filter you change every season or so.

It is propane yes.
I'm guessing you'd want to measure the air humidity upon return and probably compensates accordingly pre-heat. If you dosed after you may have a hard tell reading the ambient humidity of the actual living space? My theory.
