Yours look like a design for smaller centers. Boxlines are for places that need to handle more volume.

There was a smaller building near here that used belts. It got blown out every Christmas because it couldn't handle the volume.
A much larger place was built in the late 1980's and I think it had 6 boxlines.

Mine has 28 trucks per belt. 9 belts inside.
And a bunch of the outdoor kind we call "dog houses" basically outdoor trailers with about maybe 16 or so trucks per belt.
Metal cages go around in an oval with trucks parked on 2 sides. A secondary sort loads the cages from the top slide. Other packages get sent down to the bottom slide.
The building I worked out of most of the time was built in the early 1970's. It only has 2 boxlines. Most of the volume for the area goes to a newer building that is much larger.
