My customers never trusted cover drivers enough. They would hold on to it until the next time they saw me.
One year we had a huge ordeal because a driver covering part of a drivers regular area pretty much stole a few of his Christmas cards that they handed out to this guy asking him to give them to the regular driver. Fucker kept them saying they were his. If I remember it was like $500 worth of cards.
