Amazon ends USPS partnership after $9.5 billion loss, affecting 100,000 workers https://share.google/Pux56vQmQMU6NReqX

USPS has given Amazon a free ride for years.

I’m told the building was burning down today.

I’d like to take the credit for that, but it was burning down the week before when I was there.

Im just gonna wait patiently for @21savage to get moved back to Saturdays.

Shit light over here and I'm in a big 4 center building. I know the layoffs aren't going to get to me. They have to layoff in building seniority order right? Like there can't be a lesser seniorty driver working in another center over me rigjt?I could bump into another center if it came to it?

Well, our seasonals are finally leaving and they’re moving drivers who have a seniority date after August 2019 back to Saturday and there’s a lot of wailing weeping and nashing of teeth

I was noticing yesterday even when we were light that so many of my resis were surepost /ground savers. I was like fuuuuck

Unless you have some sort of strange agreement if you have multiple centers in your building, layoffs would have to go by building seniority.

At my location, there’s almost 0 chance of people being laid off. Even right now we’re probably 30 driver short and people are retiring as of this week. and never replaced.

Of course this is exactly how they want it

He might need to wait until the next week before he could bump someone in another center

I go on Reddit and it seems it varies by location. I'm grateful to be in the DC area. I think I'll be good. But I hear stories of other buildings closing. It makes me sad. There's a lot of uncertainty. I just don't know what to believe.
