I just saw a Mexican or a Native American, I can’t always tell the difference, stealing a rotisserie chicken and a bottle of Fireball from Safeway. He caught me looking at him and put the whiskey back. He had the chicken under his jacket and was obviously drunk. I walked by him and said, ain’t none of my business, brother. A few minutes later he walked out with the chicken and the booze. Lol.

I was grateful for it though. It only took me one year before I got promoted to full time and and to get my own bid route as an off the street hire.
Route I have now is amazing.
Probably lile 40-50 business. No apartments, I maybe pickup 10 pieces on a heavy day. Straight gravy train.

Oh! I was hired off the street too. We’re the elite, bruh. No minor league part time BS for us! Like being picked first in the draft. Of course, I’m not gay like you, and I actually went to work everyday, and retired. Other than that, bless your heart.

Came up thru the P/T ranks.All those years {23} really helped my pension totals.For many years, I worked as an on call air driver, mostly mornings handling inbound misloads.Never knew where I would be going.I got to visit every New England State.What I ended up doing for my combo job { inside/inside } would make everyone here cry.Others would have thought it was a dream job of a life time.I hated it.

My forgetful manager would sent me out to collect on-car misloads but never schedule a meet up with the other driver.
And I was repeatedly told that I could not make the delivery myself.
So I just drove around until I got tired then decided to just park my PC and nap until my evening air run started.
