Plumbing is easy but by the time something needs to be replaced it is corroded as hell. When I replaced a faucet a couple of months ago I had to use a hacksaw.

Another successful home repair. Watched a YouTube video, paid $25.99(half what Home Depot wanted), and replaced a Moen single handle shower valve in about 30 minutes. Screw calling a plumber.
When I did mine I accidentally bought a knob for the type that pulls out to turn the water on and it took a long time for me to figure out why it wouldn't work. Sounds like you had a much easier time than me. Good job.
