It is getting to be a worse headache every year. I can hardly believe I used to do mine on paper. No way I could do it now without a computer.
Taxes were the easy part. Trying to submit them is killing me. Need code from the IRS but what they are asking for is beyond my computer skills.

Taxes should be simple enough to easily do on 1 page. But too many people depend on making money from overly complicated taxes.

I had to call a preteen to walk me thru the steps to complete the process.

I tried that way some years ago, you're right it is too complicated.
Now I just have my pension and social security take out the max taxes.
My refund this year will cover the cost of my new outboard motor.
