It happens in waves. We had about 25% of the drivers retire within a couple of years of when I did.

3 off them what's from the other building? They closed and sent their work here. They said screw that drive an hour and a half each way back and forth to work every day

Once you get to the point where you can retire anytime you feel like it it's hard to keep from pulling the trigger

I don't worry about when as long as I get my money. I was kind of surprised to get that one yesterday.

Central States always hits a day early (for me) before a holiday. UPS is consistent.

I haven't started taking SS yet. I don't need the money so waiting a bit longer. Maybe next year. For now I'm taking distributions from my IRA to spread out the tax hit.
The way I heard it one of the details of the Big Beautiful Bill is no federal tax on SS but I didn't look into it yet.
I started sleeping on my couch the lately for some reason..it's uncomfortable as hell but I like it. Toughens me up! Nothing like waking up with a sore back and neck ✊💪
